Widow Meyer
Born in Los Angeles, California, Deborah Howland met the
apparently well heeled Wade Meyer in May 1888. The two were
married in June of the same year. Within months the infamous
"Death Valley Scotty" lured her husband away with promises of
wealth and riches for the taking in Nevada. Wade was gone! Not
having seen nor heard from Wade for years, the "Widow"
wanders from town to town searching for her lost love and the
promised riches..............
